5k, 1 Mile Fun Run To Benefit Kilby Pto

FLORENCE, Ala. - The Kilby Laboratory School PTO is sponsoring a 5K race and 1 Mile Fun Run April 16, with all proceeds helping develop a track on the school's playground for the students' mileage club. The 5K will begin at 8:30 a.m. from Kilby and the Fun Run at 9:30 a.m. from Kilby. Kilby is a K-6 school located on the ӣ campus. The school's PTO helps enhance learning opportunities for Kilby students through laptops, swimming lessons, art and music programs, and other opportunities. Participants in the 5K race and 1 Mile Fun Run will compete in 12 age categories, from 8 and under through 60 and up. The 1 Mile Fun Run is for the 8 and under and 9-14 age divisions. Registration for both events is available the day of the race. Entry fees are $15 for the 5K and $10 for the Fun Run. Checks should be made payable to Kilby PTO.
