
Akalonu, Smith Crowned Una Homecoming King And Queen

FLORENCE, Ala. - Ralph Akalonu and Cierra Smith were crowned the ӣ's 2010 Homecoming King and Queen this evening at Braly Municipal Stadium. The coronation ceremony was held during pre-game activities before the UNA-Arkansas Tech Homecoming game. Akalonu, a junior biology major from Lagos, Nigeria, is UNA's Student Government Association vice president for Senate, a member of Alpha Phi Alpha and circulation manager for The Flor-Ala campus newspaper. Smith, a junior accounting major from Huntsville, is Student Government Association vice president for University Program Council, president of the Black Student Alliance and a member of Delta Sigma Theta. Other members of the 2010 UNA Homecoming Court include Breann Boughton, of Killen; Erin Dulaney, of Vinemont; Lindsay Parker, of Huntsville; Jennifer Wiley, of Wharton, N.J.; Bo Bailey, of Birmingham; Cory Hamilton, of Warrior; Chase Hutcheson, of Phil Campbell; and Justin Woljevach, of Cullman.About The ӣ
