FLORENCE, Ala. - Four new ӣ football teams have formed in recent weeks. They're not vying for a national title like their intercollegiate counterparts, but they do seek official bragging rights.

They'll play for those bragging rights next Monday afternoon, when two student teams take on two faculty/staff teams in a series of six games of flag football. "We thought this would be a great way to get the faculty, staff and students involved, it would be fun to watch and a great way to raise money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation," said Kathryn Young, a UNA sophomore and member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Each team is paying $30 to play, and each of the four teams must have at least 15 players. Admission to watch the game is $1 per person, but additional donations for Make-a-Wish are welcome. Games will be played in eight-minute quarters on the two practice half-fields on Pine Street next to Flowers Hall. Kick-off for the first two games is 4 p.m.
