
The Best In Business: Una Phi Beta Lambda Students Capture National Awards

FLORENCE, Ala. - Three ӣ business students captured some of the top awards in their categories at the Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, Calif., June 20-23. The conference included 1,776 business students from some of the top colleges and universities across the country competing in more than 50 different events. Winners from UNA were:
- Amy Gresham, of Killen, seventh place in the Future Business Teacher category
- Sammi Jo McConnell, of Athens, ninth place in the Word Processing category
- C. Thomas Whitten, of Florence, second place in the Impromptu Speaking category
